honeymouse SG Awww..... This is the first time I heard about the fireman..... must have missed that when you discussed about it last time you were online.... I hope it works out for you. Congratulations!!
Rhonda SG The guy's a simple, nice, easygoing bloke. Not one of them bleeding hearts, but one of them sensible, good ol' values, wholesome kinda guy. Very down-to-earth. He's a volunteer fireman. He's actually a Manager of a very large retail chain here. It's easy to meet him cause his pad is in Southbank, right in the city. A huge huge plus is he loves Asian food and he's fascinated with Asian culture and would like to travel to China and other Asian destinations. We wanted to have our first date in Max Brenner's Chocolates but it was so darn crowded with schoolkids (it's the school holidays here) that we ended up in Wagamama, a very popular noodle restaurant from the UK. We have a lot in common so the conversation just flowed. His mom's a retired nurse and his sis is a nurse too. Soooo... I'm supposed to meet two other guys but I'm kinda holding out on meeting them until I clear my Learner's Permit (driving test) on the last Monday of the month.
Rhonda SG Bear wears a uniform at work too. Anyways, yeah... I see firemen, policemen, paramedics, doctors, one word comes to mind - PROTECTION. I feel kinda protected with them around. Before I go out with a guy, it's important to me that the guy can protect me and won't like run away faster than me and biangz, abandon me when we encounter danger.
Wanda SG Sounds like a good start to a friendship. I'm happy for you. There's no harm meeting the other 2 guys too.
Rhonda SG I'm just really happy to have found a new friend. Helps me feel more 'settled' here, y'know. I can't wait for this Saturday too! Gotta contact Bear's sis and let her know about our new plans too. I think it's best for everyone so we get to relax and enjoy each other's company instead of sweating it out in the kitchen. And oh, you'll get your Apples and Pears. And I'll get my Nook expansion soon! And I can't wait for Sunday morning when I will FINALLY get my hands on them red turnips and white turnips! BTW, is it possible to hook up to your Nintendo DS from my home if I get broadband?
stellazio SG fark.. until now i have been doing taichied work. i haven't even started on my work.. must be punishment for coming in at 9.45 today.
Rhonda SG Yeah, definitely! One of them used to work in Singapore and he's a computer ... somebody. He loves Asian stuff too, so there's a common point of interest. (And I think he loves to eat too, from his appearance! ) The other guy is from the financial sector. Looks very brainy and intelligent. He's waiting for me to name when - we've already settled on the where.
fudgester SG If I remember correctly, you can use the WiFi function to connect to your home's wireless network. However, you would have to buy a separate web browser for your DS. I've seen a store in Funan selling it for around $60.
Rhonda SG Noooooo!! I was talking about my Nintendo DS game, Animal Crossings, where Joan the ?Walrus or whatever creature sells her turnips only on Sunday mornings and I work every Sunday morning so I never got to buy the turnips!
fudgester SG Missy... is yours the DS or the DS Lite? I bought the latter a week ago.... as a self-treat for my 24th birthday.
